Premier League outfit, West Ham United has officially submitted an offer worth €8m for John Victor, Softfootball reports.
The Hammers are currently in the United States for the Premier League Summer Series Pre-season competition. Five days ago, they suffered a 2-1 defeat against Manchester United but bounced back to beat Everton in their last match.

According to football transfer expert, Fabrizio Romano, West Ham are in the market for a goalkeeper and have sent in a concrete bid but they are not the only ones interested in the player.
Writing on his official X handle, he revealed:
“West Ham submit formal bid worth €8m for Brazilian GK John Victor from Botafogo.
“Galatasaray and Everton also keen on John Victor after Man United monitored him in the recent months.”
John Victor was one of the standout players at the last FIFA Club Cup and has since attracted interest of top European sides due to his low asking price.
The Brazilian goalkeeper, was strongly linked with Manchester United at the start of the summer transfer window but the Red Devils had other priorities at the time, bringing in attacking talents in Bryan Mbeumo and Matheus Cunha while Diego Leon resumed on July 1 after completing his deal from January.
John Victor is known for his decisive and proactive style, particularly in aerial situations. He is good with decision-making and often prefers punching instead of catching crosses.
He has got speed, agility, and jumping ability and these qualities are crucial for a modern goalkeeper. He is also a towering presence on the pitch and organises his defence very well.
Botafogo have not responded officially to West Ham but the Hammer will be hoping to sign the player before their first match in the new Premier League season starting on August 15.
