AS Roma are preparing an improved bid for West Ham United winger Crysencio Summerville after seeing their opening offer rejected by the Premier League club. Roma’s initial proposal, worth €40 million plus a further €5 million in add-ons, was turned down on Saturday, prompting the Serie A side to return to the negotiating table with a new offer.

Summerville is believed to be open to the move and is keen on joining Roma, with discussions between the two clubs continuing as they attempt to reach an agreement.

Earlier this month, Softfootball reported that Manchester United had opened talks with West Ham over a potential move for Summerville as the Red Devils explored attacking reinforcements ahead of the new season. However, Roma have since emerged as one of the strongest contenders for his signature.

Roma remain determined to strengthen their attacking options and view the 24-year-old as a key addition to their squad. With the player eager to make the switch to the Italian capital, negotiations are expected to continue in the coming days as both clubs work toward finding common ground on a transfer fee.
