Al Hilal have reached an agreement with West Ham United over the signing of Crysencio Summerville, with the deal worth £55 million plus a further £10 million in add-ons.
The Saudi Pro League club have now completed negotiations with the Hammers and are awaiting the player’s final decision before proceeding with the next stage of the transfer.
Softfootball believes Al Hilal are in a strong position to complete the move, but the transfer is not yet finalised as AS Roma continue to push for Summerville and are preparing an improved bid in an attempt to convince West Ham and the player. The Italian club remain hopeful of hijacking the deal and are waiting for the winger’s camp to communicate their final decision.
With an agreement already in place between Al Hilal and West Ham, the focus has shifted to Summerville and his representatives.
Should the Dutch winger give the green light, medical tests will be scheduled before the transfer is officially completed.
Summerville has attracted significant interest following his impressive performances, with his pace, creativity and ability to influence games making him one of the most sought-after wingers in the market.
While Al Hilal appear to have won the race financially, Roma remain hopeful they can persuade the player to choose Serie A instead, setting up a fascinating battle for his signature.
