Former Crystal Palace forward Clinton Morrison has praised Liverpool’s outstanding form this season, describing Arne Slot’s side as the best team in world football.
Morrison believes Slot has exceeded expectations since replacing Jurgen Klopp, transforming Liverpool into one of Europe’s most consistent and dominant teams. Their perfect record in the UEFA Champions League has particularly impressed the former Republic of Ireland international.
Softfootball reports that Liverpool’s impressive run under Slot has established them among the favourites to challenge for multiple trophies before the end of the campaign.
He pointed to Slot’s decision to continue fielding strong line-ups despite already securing qualification as evidence of the Dutch manager’s winning mentality. Morrison also praised Mohamed Salah for maintaining his remarkable scoring form and leading by example.
According to the former striker, Liverpool’s consistency, intensity and hunger to compete in every competition make them the benchmark for clubs across Europe at the moment.
