Liverpool remain in pole position to sign Bradley Barcola, with the Reds having led the race for the Paris Saint-Germain winger since April.
Softfootball understands Barcola is open to the move and has made Liverpool his preferred destination if the Premier League champions can reach an agreement with PSG.
Liverpool are now waiting for indications from PSG regarding the transfer fee and the conditions required to complete the deal.
PSG currently value the 23-year-old at €170 million, using the recent transfers of Morgan Rogers and Elliot Anderson as benchmarks for their asking price.
The French champions believe Barcola’s valuation is justified given his status as a back-to-back UEFA Champions League winner, his impressive performances at the 2026 FIFA World Cup and the strong interest he has attracted from several top European clubs.
Despite the high valuation, PSG are prepared to consider a sale. Liverpool are expected to negotiate in an attempt to reduce the asking price before submitting a formal offer.
Luis Enrique has also made his position clear, insisting he only wants players fully committed to PSG and will not guarantee any player a place in his starting XI, a stance that has further fuelled speculation over Barcola’s future.
