The Egyptian forward has been at the centre of contract speculation for months, but his latest comments have encouraged supporters hoping he remains at Anfield beyond the current campaign.
Reflecting on Liverpool’s progress this season, Salah praised the squad’s quality and the work being done under manager Arne Slot.
Introducing his post-match remarks, the forward highlighted the importance of squad depth in competing for major honours. Salah said:
When you want to win a big tournament, you need a big squad.
We have good talent, players working very hard, and the manager also has a good idea.
Salah also reflected on reaching another personal milestone after scoring his 50th European goal for Liverpool. He added:
