Manchester City winger Savinho believes he is playing for the best club in world football after making a promising start to life at the Etihad Stadium.
Softfootball gathered that the Brazilian has adapted well after a slow beginning and recently scored his first goal for the Premier League champions.
The winger credited Pep Guardiola, his teammates and the club’s environment for helping him improve.
Introducing his thoughts on life at City, Savinho praised the winning culture at the club saying:
I think it’s good to play for Manchester City because they’re the best team in the world. Every two or three days you get another opportunity. You can’t relax or dwell on defeats because there’s always another chance to build confidence.
The Brazilian also spoke about his partnership with Erling Haaland, explaining that he enjoys supplying the Norwegian striker because he understands his movement inside the box and trusts him to finish chances.
Savinho added that criticism motivates him to improve, insisting he uses both positive and negative comments to become a better player.
