Softfootball can confirm that Tino Livramento has been pulled out of England’s 2026 FIFA World Cup squad after suffering a calf injury during a training session.

The Newcastle United full‑back, who made the final England squad, picked up the injury away from the cameras, and although it is not considered serious, the medical team has decided he will play no part in the tournament.

Livramento will now return to Newcastle United to continue his rehabilitation ahead of the new season. In his place, Chelsea defender Trevoh Chalobah has been officially called up to join the England squad for the tournament.
