Kylian Mbappé, while speaking to the media, expressed sadness over suggestions from some supporters that he does not want to play for Real Madrid, insisting that such claims are completely false.
Softfootball gathered that the French star pointed out the contradiction in recent criticism from fans. According to Mbappé, earlier in the season many supporters claimed he was playing too many matches and even suggested he should be rested during the Copa del Rey campaign.
He referenced Madrid’s elimination from the competition by a lower-division side during a period when he was unavailable, questioning why some fans now accuse him of not wanting to play.

Mbappé also admitted his disappointment at missing the recent El Clásico clash in which Barcelona defeated Real Madrid 2–0. The forward stated that he always enjoys playing against Barcelona and maintained that he has a strong scoring record in the fixture.
Addressing the boos and whistles directed at him by sections of Madrid supporters, Mbappé said criticism is normal in football whenever results do not go well. He added that fan frustration exists at every major club and is not something unique to Real Madrid.

Reacting to concerns surrounding his knee injury, Mbappé strongly defended the club’s medical handling of the situation. He insisted that Real Madrid never made any mistakes regarding his recovery, describing the Spanish giants as “the best club in the world” and maintaining full confidence in the club’s medical and technical staff.
