SSC Napoli remain committed to signing Alisson Santos on a permanent deal, with plans unchanged since March to trigger his €15.5 million buy option from Sporting CP.
Softfootball earlier reported that Napoli have been impressed with Alisson’s impact since joining on loan, prompting the club to move forward with securing his long-term future.
According reports from Fabrizio Romano via his x handle, The move is viewed as a formality, with Napoli already informing the player’s camp and the Brazilian winger understood to be happy with the arrangement.

Napoli plan since March has not changed: the intention is to trigger €15.5m buy option clause to sign Alisson Santos. Permanent deal seen as guarantee with player’s camp informed, Alisson very happy and Sporting CP to get the money in June.

Sporting CP are expected to receive the transfer fee in June as part of the agreement.
Meanwhile, director Giovanni Manna recently confirmed that Romelu Lukaku will face disciplinary consequences after failing to return to the club during the international break, adding further tension within the squad.
