Bayern Munich legend Uli Hoeneß has sparked fresh debate after boldly claiming that if Alexander Isak is valued at €150 million, then Harry Kane should be worth €250 million as reported by fabrizio Romano via their X handle

Romano reported ;

Bayern’s Uli Hoeneß: “I’d say Harry Kane is worth €150m. But then you see Alexander Isak cost €150m to Liverpool…

…if Isak is worth 150 million, then Harry is worth 250 million euros”, told Kicker.

The comment says a lot about how highly Kane is now viewed in Germany, especially after the impact he has made since arriving at Bayern Munich.

Softfootball reported that Hoeneß even admitted he would gladly pay €150 million for Kane today, describing him as far more than just a striker, but also as a global figure, mentor, and role model within the squad.

And honestly, performances like his against VfB Stuttgart explain exactly why those comments are flying around. In Bayern’s emphatic 5-0 win, Kane started on the bench, came on in the 60th minute, and still ended up stealing the show with a devastating second-half hat-trick.

His first was a brilliant long-range finish just minutes after coming on, his second came from the penalty spot, and his third was a poacher’s finish that completed the rout. It was the kind of cameo only elite strikers can produce, and it underlined just how ruthless he remains in front of goal.

What makes Kane’s current phase even more impressive is that his influence now goes well beyond club football. Under Thomas Tuchel, the England national football team captain is also part of a newly shaped leadership core as the Three Lions prepare for the 2026 FIFA World Cup.

Alongside names like Jude Bellingham, Bukayo Saka, Marc Guéhi, and Declan Rice, Kane is expected to help lead a refreshed England dressing room into a new era. That shift says plenty about how he is seen not just as a scorer, but as one of the key voices in the team.

Right now, Kane is not just justifying Bayern’s investment, he is making it look like a bargain. If Hoeneß wanted to stir the market with that €250 million statement, Kane’s recent form has made sure people cannot simply laugh it off.
