Liverpool have celebrated their midfielder Dominik Szoboszlai after he was named the club’s Standard Chartered Men’s Player of the Month for the fourth time during the 2025–26 season.
The announcement was shared on their official X account, highlighting the Hungarian midfielder’s remarkable consistency and influence throughout the campaign. Since arriving from RB Leipzig in 2023 for around £60 million, Szoboszlai has grown into one of the most important players in the squad.
They announced:
Dominik Szoboszlai has picked up the @StanChart Men’s Player of the Month award for the fourth time this season. Congratulations, Szobo
Softfootball in their reasearch gathered that this season alone, the attacking midfielder has recorded 10 goals and 8 assists in 40 appearances, playing a crucial role in Liverpool’s attacking build-up and overall creativity.
His performances have also earned praise from teammates, including Mohamed Salah, who earlier this year described Szoboszlai as “one of the best players in the world right now”. Salah also suggested that Liverpool’s hopes of winning the FA Cup could depend heavily on the midfielder maintaining his impressive form.
Szoboszlai recently delivered another standout display in Liverpool’s 3–0 victory over Brighton & Hove Albion FC, scoring the team’s second goal in the 56th minute after a well-worked attacking move.

Supporters have widely praised the Hungarian international on social media, with many describing him as Liverpool’s most consistent performer during a demanding season.
