AC Milan striker Alvaro Morata believes Lamine Yamal has the talent and mentality to reach the heights achieved by Lionel Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo, softfootball reports.
Speaking in an interview with The Athletic, Morata praised the Barcelona teenager’s maturity, describing him as a player with remarkable personality and determination despite his young age.

He said Yamal possesses a clear understanding of his game and stands out as a unique talent unlike any player he has previously encountered. Morata added that it took just one training session to realise the youngster was a special talent destined for greatness.
The Spain international believes football only produces players of Messi and Ronaldo’s calibre once every few decades and is convinced Yamal has the qualities needed to make history. He predicted that if the teenager does not become Spain’s greatest-ever player, he will certainly rank among the country’s finest footballers.
Morata also highlighted Yamal’s impact with the Spanish national team, noting that the winger had already made history by helping Spain win the European Championship at just 16 years old. He expressed hope that Yamal continues on his current path, adding that his continued development could help Spain achieve even greater success in the years ahead.
The experienced striker also joked that his children are eager to meet Yamal, watch him play and follow his remarkable journey, underlining the excitement surrounding one of football’s brightest young stars.
