He is of predominantly Irish descent, with his ancestry traced back to Donabate, County Dublin. He also has some Italian ancestry through his maternal grandmother, whose roots trace back to Belmonte del Sannio, Isernia.
Celebrating the occasion of Mac Allister’s birthday, Liverpool shared a photo of the player on their official X handle with a simple caption. It read:
Happy birthday, Macca! 🥳

With the like of Mohamed Salah now focused on AFCON and striker Alexander Isak out for months due to injury, Liverpool would need goals from midfield and Mac Allister will be required to do more as they look to retain their premier league title.

Mac Allister started in Argentina with Argentinos Juniors and Boca Juniors before moving to England with Brighton & Hove Albion in 2019. He scored 12 goals in 40 matches in the 2022/23 season. The midfielder was an integral to Argentina’s 2022 World Cup victory and made a move to Liverpool in 2023 as the club’s new No. 10.
