According to German transfer journalist Florian Plettenberg, he revealed via his X handle that the 22 year old remains determained to make the move and has waived about €10 million.

He stated:

“Excl. Details | Nick #Woltemade is still hoping for a move to FC Bayern. To make the transfer happen, Woltemade and his agent Danny Bachmann are waiving around €10m in total, which they would have been owed by VfB Stuttgart as part of a sell-on clause.

Bayern’s current offer:

  • €50m fixed
  • €5m in bonuses
  • sell-on clause of ~ 10% for VfB
  • ,,plus“/included the €10m that #VfB will not have to pay to Woltemade/Bachmann.

Woltemade and his camp are said to have received information today that Stuttgart are willing to agree for €70–75m.”

Despite Bayern’s offer for the player, Stuttgart are believed to be seeking between €70–75 million. Woltemade camp has been informed that the club is willing to agree on a deal for the player within that range.

With Bayern stepping back, the chances of Woltemade’s transfer going through this summer appear slim, leaving his future uncertain, especially as the transfer window nears its end.
