According to Italian transfer expert Gianluca Di Marzio, newly promoted Venezia FC have reached a preliminary agreement with Super Eagles and Sevilla striker Akor Adams on personal terms, including wages and other contractual details.
Softfootball gathered that while Adams is open to the move, the transfer is far from complete. The next and most decisive step is for Venezia to agree a transfer fee with Sevilla, which remains the biggest stumbling block.
Sevilla are believed to be demanding between €20 million and €25 million, a figure that could prove difficult for Venezia to meet given their newly promoted status and current financial structure.
