UEFA has announced on their Official X handle that the UEFA Grassroots Award for Best Participation Initiative has been awarded to LTFutbolas for their Primary School League – Challenge Month in Lithuania.

They posted:

The UEFA Grassroots Award for Best Participation Initiative went to the @ltfutbolas’ Primary School League – Challenge Month! 🇱🇹🏃🏻 Engaging over 220 schools and 10,000 children, the initiative combines football, physical activity and educational tasks linked to healthy living and school subjects.

Meanwhile, Barcelona have officially submitted a complaint to UEFA regarding refereeing decisions in their UEFA Champions League quarter-final clash against Atlético Madrid.

Club president Joan Laporta had earlier confirmed the move, with the complaint focusing on a controversial handball incident that was not awarded despite a VAR review.

In a separate development, FIFA has confirmed a significant reshuffle in the latest FIFA/Coca-Cola Women’s World Ranking following recent international fixtures.
