Tottenham Hotspur F.C. have confirmed the appointment of Igor Tudor as interim head coach, Softfootball reports. The Croatian tactician has signed a short-term deal valid until June 2026, with no option to extend.

According to a report shared by transfer expert Fabrizio Romano via his official X handle, the agreement has now been sealed.

Romano stated that:

Igor Tudor has signed his short term deal as new Tottenham interim manager. Agreement only valid until June, no option to extend. Future plans include Roberto De Zerbi and Mauricio Pochettino among top candidates.

The move comes shortly after Tudor agreed to step in and stabilize the squad and he is expected to be in charge when the players return to training on Monday.

Tudor, 48, is known for implementing an intense 3-4-2-1 system and for making swift impacts at clubs. He notably revived Olympique de Marseille’s campaign in 2022 and previously guided Hellas Verona F.C. to a respectable mid-table Serie A finish.

Earlier this week, Tottenham dismissed Thomas Frank, who endured a difficult spell with the club sitting 16th in the Premier League and hovering dangerously close to the relegation zone.

Looking ahead, Tottenham are reportedly considering long-term options such as Roberto De Zerbi and Mauricio Pochettino as part of a broader strategic reset.
