As the September World Cup qualifiers series ended last Tuesday for England, coach Thomas Tuchel has recounted the experiences and highlights of his side in their double win against the duo teams Andorra and Serbia.
England scored seven goals and conceded zero goals, with several players like Marc Guehi and Elliot Andersson making their debut caps for the Three Lions. And while the Three Lions capped off the break in style with a commanding 5-0 win over Serbia, where five different players found the net. Speaking after the match in Belgrade, the German coach could not hide his satisfaction at seeing training ground work translate into results on the pitch.

As gathered by Softfootball, Tuchel told the England national team media about the teamwork exhibited by his players and their lookout for ahead of the October series of the qualifiers.
Tuchel said:
I’m more than happy for the team. We had an excellent week from start to finish, and the players proved what I see every day in camp. That makes me very happy.
The England coach also credited the resounding form of his boys as a product of “teamwork in its purest form”, which includes the effort and discipline displayed to dominate both with and without the ball.
We did this with a lot of support from all positions, a lot of running and invisible work that doesn’t get praise. It was good to watch.
The win marked Tuchel’s fifth in six games since taking charge, and he stressed that while the group is still gelling, the performance in Belgrade sets a clear benchmark. England’s next World Cup qualifying games are in October against a trio of countries, Latvia, Serbia and Albania, who are behind the Three Lions with seven points.
