“This is an appreciation video to all the attackers at Barcelona… From Ferran Torres to Lewandowski to Lamine Yamal… I just want to say thank you. You guys have been incredible once again. We have abused you, we have complained, we have quarreled, but I think you guys have contributed a lot.

There’s still another level you can unlock. Many times this season you were inconsistent, finishing was poor, the gameplay was not up to standard, but overall we have to thank you for what you did in helping us win the league. Lamine, you are the star boy, our best player in attack. Lewandowski, even at your age you have been a leader and consistent.

Ferran Torres and Rashford, we didn’t always enjoy you due to inconsistency and injuries, but when you played, you contributed. To the midfielders from Gavi to Pedri to De Jong, Dani Olmo, Fermín López, Casadó, Bernal, thank you all. You have been incredible. Gavi brings aggression and pressing, Pedri is a maestro, De Jong injuries affected us but you remain a leader, Dani Olmo has been impressive, Fermín López is top, Casadó and Bernal stepped up when needed.

To the defenders from Koundé, Araújo, Christensen, Eric García, Gerard Martín, Cubarsí and others, thank you for your defensive solidity. Gerard Martín has been a revelation, I cannot remember a match we lost because of him.

Eric García is our utility player, playing everywhere. Cubarsí has been solid. And to Joan García, our goalkeeper, thank you for your clutch performances, 15 clean sheets in 29 starts, you have been a big reason we are champions. Overall, this Barcelona team has been incredible, and more is expected next season.”

Softfootball believes the message reflects the emotional connection between fans and the squad after a demanding campaign, especially as Barcelona secured back to back La Liga titles following a dominant 2–0 El Clásico victory that sealed their supremacy over Real Madrid.
