The Super Falcons of Nigeria, 10‑time WAFCON champions, continued their training session in Rabat, Morocco as preparations build toward their opening match against Malawi, scheduled for Tuesday at 9:00 PM.

It was the team’s first training session since arriving in Rabat on Saturday. After completing their official team photo shoot yesterday, the Falcons wasted no time returning to work, intensifying preparations for their crucial opener.

Softfootball understands, head coach Justin Madugu and his staff monitored every detail, guiding the players through tactical drills, shape work and game‑plan rehearsals to ensure full clarity ahead of Tuesday’s encounter.

The players responded with commitment and intensity, fully aware of the importance of starting the tournament strongly. Despite Nigeria’s rich history in WAFCON, the team is taking nothing for granted and remains focused on the task ahead.

The tenth‑time African champions are determined to go all out on Tuesday and secure their first three points of the 2026 Women’s Africa Cup of Nations as they begin their quest for a record‑extending 11th title.
