The Super Eagles of Nigeria have officially departed Cairo, Egypt, for Fes, Morocco, as they gear up for the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations. The team left Cairo around 1 pm Nigerian time on December 18, 2025, according to Softfootball reports.
Earlier, the squad faced a 2–1 defeat to Egypt in an international friendly, a result that sparked significant backlash from fans online. Despite the criticism, the team appears focused on the upcoming tournament.
In a video shared on the Super Eagles’ verified X handle, the players were seen carrying their luggage while dressed in traditional green senator attire, presenting a unified and stylish image ahead of the continental competition.
