The Super Eagles of Nigeria have arrived safely in Rabat ahead of their highly anticipated AFCON 2025 semi-final encounter against tournament hosts Morocco, upon defeating algeria 2:0 in the quater finals.
Softfootball gathered, the Nigerian team made the journey by road, arriving in Rabat in under three hours. Questions had earlier emerged over why the team returned to Fez before heading to Rabat, but this movement aligns with Confederation of African Football (CAF) regulations, which require teams to return to their official base before traveling to the next match venue. CAF rules also permit road travel when the journey time is under three hours.
