New Monterrey defender Sergio Ramos has revealed that he joined the Liga MX club with the ambition of winning trophies.
The former Real Madrid captain has signed a one-year contract with Monterrey and is eager to begin the next chapter of his career.
Ramos said he never considered retirement and explained that his decision to join the Mexican club was influenced by several factors, including the opportunity to compete in the new Club World Cup.

The Spanish defender thanked Monterrey’s president, sporting director, coach and his family for helping make the move possible.

Ramos also promised to give his best for the club and insisted that his commitment would never be in doubt.
