Antoine Semenyo has reiterated his ambition to compete for major honours at Manchester City, despite the club’s absence from the UEFA Champions League, as confirmed by Fabrizio Romano via his x handle.
The forward recently featured in City’s emphatic 4–0 victory over Liverpool FC in the FA Cup quarter-finals, where he scored a composed lob to make it 3–0. Erling Haaland led the charge with a hat-trick in a dominant performance.
Semenyo said:
That’s why I signed for Man City, I want to be competing for all trophies. It’s unfortunate we’re not in the UCL but at least we’ve got the Premier League and FA Cup to compete for. Hopefully we win.

Earlier in March, Softfootball reported that City also secured silverware by defeating Arsenal FC 2–0 in the Carabao Cup Final, with Nico O’Reilly scoring twice to seal the club’s ninth League Cup title.
With domestic competitions still in play, Manchester City remain focused on finishing the season strongly and adding more trophies to their campaign.
