Real Madrid players trains ahead of Saturday’s Real Sociedad clash

Real Madrid players returned to work at Valdebebas after the international break to begin the quest in La Liga. Softfootball can report that the duo of Jude Bellingham and Eduardo Camavinga, who had been sidelined, also joined the squad during the preparatory training ahead of their fourth La Liga fixture against Real Sociedad.

As reported on the club’s website, Real Madrid players were in the white Galácticos jersey, wearing bright smiles and full of energy as the Xabi Alonso-led team sought their fourth consecutive win. It also reported that the duo of Mendy and Endrick are still undergoing rehabilitation.

The report read in part as this:

The players started out in the gym with a range of strength and mobility exercises. They then moved out onto the pitch to work on possession and pressing drills, and a tactical phase of attack versus defence.

Xabi Alonso has been instrumental in Madrid’s tournament this season, with the German gaffer securing maximum points in all his games this season. And seeing the return of Bellingham, Alonso, who was awarded the La Liga manager of the month for August, will have more reasons to continue his high-flying performance.

Manager Xabi Alonso was boosted by the return of his international players, who rejoined the group following the September break, ensuring a near-full complement of options for the upcoming fixture in San Sebastián.

With preparations now entering their final phase, focus is firmly on Saturday’s 4:15 pm CEST kick-off at Anoeta. Real Madrid is targeting a strong performance to maintain their early momentum in the league. The Galácticos lead La Liga with nine points, having conceded just one goal and scored six.
