The arrangement mirrors the development pathway previously used with Endrick, allowing Mastantuono to gain valuable first-team experience before returning to compete for a place at the Santiago Bernabéu.
Mastantuono joined Real Madrid from River Plate in 2025 in a deal worth an initial €45 million, with the total package potentially rising to €63 million through bonuses and additional payments.
