Real Madrid and Olympique Lyonnais have finally closed the chapter on months of speculation, reaching a full agreement for the loan of Brazilian striker Endrick until the end of the season.
The deal was finalised today, as reported by Fabrizio Romano via his official X account.

The move is structured as a straight loan with no option to buy, a detail that underlines how highly Real Madrid still rates the 19-year-old.
Endrick, who last featured for Real Madrid in the club’s 3-2 victory against Talavera in the Copa del Rey, is expected to return to the Santiago Bernabéu in June 2026, with the Spanish giants keen to keep full control over his long-term future.
For the player, though, this is about minutes, rhythm, and visibility, things that have been hard to come by in Madrid. Softfootball understands that Endrick was linked with a loan move to Lyon more than a month ago, due to his lack of playing time at the club.
Lyon will pay around 50 per cent of Endrick’s hefty salary, reported to be just over €400,000 per month, a significant commitment for the French side. Real Madrid, however, refused to include any purchase clause, drawing a clear line.
One key detail in the agreement is a performance safeguard. Lyon is expected to give Endrick meaningful game time, with a target of at least 25 competitive appearances across Ligue 1, the Coupe de France, and the Europa League.
Endrick is due to arrive in Lyon on December 29, rejoining training immediately. His registration will be completed on January 1, 2026, though league rules mean his debut against Monaco on January 3 remains uncertain unless fast-tracked approval is granted.
With just 99 minutes played this season across three appearances, Endrick knows he needs more. Lyon offers that chance, and maybe a fresh spark.
