Raphinha has signed a new contract with Barcelona that will keep the Brazilian winger at the Catalan club until June 2030.
The agreement has been fully approved and concluded with Raphinha’s representatives and lawyers, with the new deal now completed and sealed. Barcelona are expected to make the official announcement and hold a presentation ceremony later this week, with Friday being targeted if all remaining documentation is completed as planned.
Barcelona sporting director Deco had already confirmed during the club’s General Assembly that an agreement had been reached to extend Raphinha’s stay at the Camp Nou.
It has been progressing since yesterday. We have agreed that he will stay until 2030
Deco revealed during the assembly.
Raphinha has consistently expressed his desire to remain at Barcelona despite receiving lucrative proposals from Saudi Arabia in recent years.
The 29-year-old joined Barcelona from Leeds United in 2022 and initially signed a contract running until the summer of 2028. However, his importance to the team has grown significantly since then, particularly under manager Hansi Flick.
Raphinha has played a key role in Barcelona’s back-to-back La Liga title triumphs and was rewarded with a major leadership role this season after being named Flick’s first captain.

The Brazil international has also responded to that responsibility with outstanding performances in front of goal.
In just eight matches across all competitions this season, Raphinha has already registered 14 goals and three assists. His domestic form has been particularly impressive, with 12 goals in seven La Liga appearances making him the division’s current leading scorer.
His latest contract therefore represents another significant commitment from Barcelona towards one of the most influential players in Flick’s squad.
Raphinha recently returned from international duty with Brazil carrying a minor injury, but he is expected to be fully fit for Barcelona’s upcoming fixture against Getafe later this week.
However, Flick may choose to manage the forward carefully despite his impressive start to the campaign. Barcelona have a demanding run of fixtures ahead, including major clashes with Paris Saint-Germain and Real Madrid later this month.
With Raphinha now committed to Barcelona until 2030, the club have secured the future of one of their most productive attacking players while the Brazilian continues to play a central role in Flick’s plans.
