Paris Saint-Germain have officially announced via their X handle that academy defender Noham Kamara has completed a permanent move to Olympique Lyonnais, Softfootball reports.

The Club statement:

Formé au Paris Saint-Germain et prêté à l’Olympique Lyonnais depuis le mois de février dernier, Noham Kamara s’engage définitivement avec le club rhodanien.
Le Club lui souhaite le meilleur pour la suite de sa carrière.

Which is translated to:

Trained at Paris Saint Germain and on loan at Olympique Lyonnais since last February, Noham Kamara has signed permanently with the Rhone Club.
The club wishes him the best for the rest of his career.

The transfer comes during a busy period for PSG. The club recently reaffirmed that midfield stars Vitinha and João Neves are not for sale amid speculation linking both players with Real Madrid.

The 19-year-old centre-back initially joined Lyon on loan during the January transfer window and made several first-team appearances during the second half of the season. Impressed by his potential, Lyon have now decided to make the transfer permanent.

The deal is reportedly worth €4 million upfront, with a further €2 million possible in performance-related bonuses. While the fee may not significantly impact PSG financially, it represents another successful academy sale for the European champions.

Kamara had attracted interest from several clubs across Europe before his January switch, including Bayer Leverkusen, highlighting the reputation he has built as one of France’s promising young defenders.

PSG are also preparing to host Ici C’est Paris – La Maison at the Hollywood Athletic Club in Los Angeles from June 11 to 14, continuing their global brand expansion following another successful season on and off the pitch.

For Kamara, the move offers an opportunity for regular first-team football and continued development as he looks to establish himself at Lyon in the years ahead.
