Paris Saint-Germain have opened negotiations with AS Monaco over the signing of highly rated winger Maghnes Akliouche, with the 24-year-old emerging as one of their top transfer targets.

Softfootball understands that Akliouche has given his agreement to the move after holding direct discussions with PSG manager Luis Enrique.

The French international has attracted major attention following an impressive season with Monaco, where his technical ability, creativity, and attacking contributions have made him one of Ligue 1’s standout performers.

Akliouche recorded seven goals and 11 assists last season, showcasing his ability to create chances and influence matches from wide areas. His performances have also placed him on the radar of several European clubs, with Tottenham previously monitoring him as a potential Premier League target.

PSG are now working to complete the deal, with reports suggesting the transfer could be valued at around €50 million. The move is expected to progress further after the club completes the sale of Kang-in Lee, allowing them to continue strengthening their squad.

The potential signing fits PSG’s strategy of investing in elite Ligue 1 talent while building a squad capable of competing domestically and in Europe. Akliouche’s versatility and attacking qualities make him an attractive addition to Luis Enrique’s plans as the French champions look to maintain their dominance.
