Former Nigerian international Sunday Oliseh has praised Super Eagles winger Ademola Lookman, describing him as one of the most unpredictable players in his position across European football at the moment.
Speaking to News Central, Oliseh broke down exactly what makes the Atalanta star stand out from his peers in the same role.
According to Softfootball, he pointed to Lookman’s pace, tenacity and ball control as standout traits worth highlighting to viewers. He said:
Ademola Lookman is a great player, I’m looking at the qualities, the characteristics that are needed to play the position Lookman plays and how he executes them. He executes most of them at 7.5, 8 out of ten, so that’s why I say he’s a great player.”
He also referenced Lookman’s decisive performance in the Europa League final as proof of his quality under real pressure. Oliseh concluded firmly:
