Netherlands and Tunisia meet at Arrowhead Stadium on Thursday in their final Group F match of the 2026 World Cup, with both teams facing very different objectives.
The Oranje regained their confidence after a brilliant 5-1 victory over Sweden in their second group match. The performance was a major improvement from their opening 2-2 draw against Japan, where they twice surrendered the lead and conceded a late equaliser.
With four points and a superior goal difference over Japan, Netherlands are in control of their qualification hopes and a victory over Tunisia should secure top spot in Group F.
Tunisia, arrive with nothing but pride at stake after their hopes of reaching the knockout stage ended following back-to-back defeats. The Eagles of Carthage were beaten heavily by Japan last time out and have struggled throughout the tournament.
Despite their elimination, Tunisia will aim to finish strongly and create a difficult challenge for the Dutch. However, history favours Netherlands, who are unbeaten in three meetings with Tunisia and have never lost a World Cup match against an African opponent.

Tunisia could switch from a back-five system to a four-man defence, with Hannibal Mejbri expected to play a key creative role in midfield alongside Ellyes Skhiri.
Netherlands could welcome back Quinten Timber after concussion. Brian Brobbey is expected to keep his place if fit, while Cody Gakpo and Donyell Malen are likely to support him in attack.
Frenkie de Jong should continue to lead the midfield alongside Tijjani Reijnders and Ryan Gravenberch.
