Dan Ndoye has expressed delight after scoring on his debut for Nottingham Forest as they hammered Brentford 3-1 at the City Ground, Softfootball reports.
The striker was one of the shining lights in the Serie A last season and has continued from where he stopped in the premier league. Ndoye signed a five-year deal with Nottingham Forest after scoring nine goals in 41 appearances while representing Bologna last season.

In his first match in England he scored just before the half-time against the bees while fellow striker partner Chris Wood grabbed a brace in a comprehensive opening day win. Speaking to Nottingham Forest’s official club media.
Ndoye revealed:
“It was amazing to start like that, the first game of the season, the first win and scoring three goals and for myself scoring my first goal for the Club, it was a really nice experience.
“I saw the ball was a bit far but I jumped and did my best to get an effort on goal. It was an amazing experience to celebrate with all my teammates. You really feel the atmosphere and the fans pushed us on all game.
“Every game we play together I feel better and after today I feel better already than I did over the last week. I’ll continue to work to help my teammates and the team to win games. I’m really happy how we played today.”

Nottingham Forest Coach Espírito Santo hailed the impact of Ndoye and wants more from the player.
He said:
“Dan (Ndoye) played well today, he stuck to his defensive tasks which is always important, but he is so talented and honestly, I think he has much more to give.”
On the team’s general performance, the manager claims that he couldn’t have asked for more from his players and the fans who created a great atmosphere.
He added:
“It was a good start to the game and a good start to the season. I’m really pleased, I think we played really well.
“The boys were on fire in the way they started the game. We got the first goal to settle everything down then we had the energy from the fans and everything started to flow. It’s almost impossible to ask for a better start.
“Just before our second goal, Brentford had a good chance, but for the rest of the half we were in control of the game, with and without the ball, pressing, controlling the movements of Brentford and their players.
“Now this week we have to recover and work harder and see how the week progresses ahead of another tough game next week.
“Today we couldn’t have asked for anymore, the City Ground was loud and bouncing, it was a beautiful day for us.”
Nottingham Forest will travel to Selhurst Park for their next Premier League match against Community Shield winners, Crystal Palace.
