Napoli are wasting no time in their hunt for a new striker following Romelu Lukaku’s injury setback. The Serie A champions are actively exploring options to reinforce their attack and, today, they turned their attention to Tolu Arokodare.
The 23-year-old Nigerian forward has been in fine form with Genk, finishing last season as the top scorer in Belgium. His performances have not gone unnoticed, and Genk value him very highly and would like a decent transfer fee pacakage, Napoli are now considering as they weigh their options in the market.

Transfer guru Fabrizio Romano confirmed the latest development on napoli’s search for a striker via his X handle, stating:
“Napoli keep moving for new striker after Romelu Lukaku injury and today made contact with Tolu Arokodare’s camp.
He’s valued at €20/25m by Genk after being top scorer last season in Belgium.
Follows moves for Højlund on Monday as Napoli are exploring the strikers market.”
Softfootball earlier reported the Italian club’s interest in Rasmus Højlund earlier this week, Napoli are clearly casting a wide net in their search.
Arokodare’s blend of pace, power, and goalscoring instinct makes him an intriguing option, and whether the Italian club decide to push further for his signing will depend on how quickly talks progress in the coming days
