Napoli are wasting no time in their hunt for a new striker following Romelu Lukaku’s injury setback. The Serie A champions are actively exploring options to reinforce their attack and, today, they turned their attention to Tolu Arokodare.
The 23-year-old Nigerian forward has been in fine form with Genk, finishing last season as the top scorer in Belgium. His performances have not gone unnoticed, and Genk value him very highly and would like a decent transfer fee pacakage, Napoli are now considering as they weigh their options in the market.
Transfer guru Fabrizio Romano confirmed the latest development on napoli’s search for a striker via his X handle, stating:
“Napoli keep moving for new striker after Romelu Lukaku injury and today made contact with Tolu Arokodare’s camp.
He’s valued at €20/25m by Genk after being top scorer last season in Belgium.
