Real Madrid forward Kylian Mbappe says his side head into Tuesday’s Champions League clash with Atalanta full of confidence, following a comfortable 2-0 win over Girona in La Liga.
The France international is expected to lead Los Blancos’ attack once again as they look to bounce back from their previous European defeat.

Softfootball understands Mbappe acknowledged the difficulty of facing Atalanta away from home, given their current form domestically.
He said:
It’s the Champions League. When you play in the Champions League you always have strong players and strong teams against you.
Mbappe added that Madrid’s recent slip in Europe has only sharpened their focus heading into the match. He continued:
We have to win because we lost the last game. It’s another away game but we’re ready to go and compete and win.
Real Madrid will be aiming to strengthen their position in the group standings with a positive result away from home.
