Former Nigeria international Obafemi Martins believes Victor Osimhen would be an ideal fit for Manchester United, amid ongoing transfer speculation surrounding the Galatasaray striker.
Osimhen has been strongly linked with a move to Old Trafford during the current transfer window, despite having previously expressed a desire to remain with Galatasaray for the rest of the season.
Softfootball gathers that Martins made the case for a move while speaking to Africa Foot, insisting the Nigerian would immediately upgrade United’s attacking options.
He said:
If he comes into this team, everything changes, especially in terms of the way they score goals. He has speed and power, but also finishing. He is one of the best finishers in Europe, and he has proven it in successive seasons.
Osimhen joined Galatasaray on loan from Napoli last September and has continued to impress, though a break clause in his loan arrangement means a January move remains a genuine possibility depending on how negotiations progress.
