Still, Read’s contract with Feyenoord isn’t ending until 2029 and this cannot be neglected because it can potentially make any move difficult.
With Manchester City’s strong recent performances, including their 3-0 win over Liverpool in Etihad, the club is reportedly looking at Givairo Read to provide youthful depth at right-back as part of their long-term plans.
Bayern are also interested in him long-term to strengthen their defense as they plan for the future. Both clubs pushing for Read could become one of the most talked-about transfers in 2026.
Feyenoord might demand a high price because of how important Read has become for their team and how highly he is rated across Europe.
