Atletico Madrid are chasing back-to-back win for the first time this season when they face Mallorca away from home, Softfootball reports.
Diego Simeone’s men fell 3-2 at Anfield to Liverpool in the Match-day one of the UEFA Champions League but it’s their league form the Argentine would be concerned about.

After felling to win any of their previous three LaLiga match, Atletico beat Villarreal 2-0 after the international break to record their first win. Now, they want to consolidate with another win over Mallorca.

Mallorca currently have just one point from four matches leaving them 19th in LaLiga. Jagoba Arrasate’s side desperately needs a win but they play an Atletico side that has beaten them 33 times out of their 65 previous meetings while the Pirates won just 18.
Mallorca opened their season with a 3-0 defeat in the hands of Barcelona. Their only point came in the 1-1 draw against Celta Viga which was followed by two consecutive defeats to Real Madrid and Espanyol.

Javi Llabres and Marash Kumbulla are definitely ruled out for Mallorca.
Vedat Muriqi is the team’s topscorer this season with three goals in three appearances and expected to lead the line on Sunday.
Mateo Joseph ,21, is expected to start alongside former Barcelona attacker Pablo Torre.
Atletico Madrid will do a late fitness test to see if Johnny Cardoso and Julian Alvarez make it against Mallorca but the trio of Alex Baena, Jose Gimenez and Thiago Almada are definitely out through injuries.
While the quartet of Nico Gonzalez, David Hancko, Koke and Alexander Sorloth are expected to start.
