Atalanta manager Gian Piero Gasperini has confirmed that Ademola Lookman is fit to face Club Brugge in the Champions League play-off. The Nigerian winger missed the last six games due to a knee injury but has returned to training with his teammates. Softfootball reports that he will be available for selection from the bench.

Gasperini indicated that Lookman would likely come on in the second half rather than starting the match immediately. The manager emphasized the need for an improved performance compared to the first leg, stating that the team must play two steps better to overcome their opponents and secure progression.
He explained the situation by stating:
Lookman and Kolasinac have recovered, they are called up. In principle, Kolasinac will start, and Lookman might come in during the second half.
This provides a boost for Atalanta as they look to turn around their aggregate deficit.
