Super Eagles forward Ademola Lookman was named Man of the Match after delivering another outstanding performance in Atalanta’s impressive 3-0 victory over Napoli at the Diego Armando Maradona Stadium on Sunday, Softfootball reports.

Antonio Conte’s men had gone into the encounter unbeaten in their previous 10 matches across all competitions, but Lookman’s brilliance helped Atalanta end that remarkable run in convincing fashion.
Beyond his two goals, the 27-year-old produced an all-round display that underlined his growing influence for the Bergamo club. He completed 21 passes in the attacking third, registered six touches inside Napoli’s penalty area, delivered four crosses, and won four duels.
Lookman also created three goalscoring opportunities, attempted three shots, won two fouls, and recorded two efforts on target during another dominant outing.
His latest brace means he has now contributed six goals and four assists in just eight Serie A appearances this season, continuing the outstanding form that has established him as one of the league’s most dangerous attackers.
The former Leicester City winger has enjoyed a remarkable year, finishing 14th in the 2024 Ballon d’Or rankings after playing a key role in Atalanta’s UEFA Europa League triumph, including his historic hat-trick in the final against Bayer Leverkusen.
