Ahead of the premier league Match-Day 20 between Manchester United and Leeds, Rio Ferdinand has warned Ruben Amorim about the importance of the fixture and the rivalry that exist, Softfootball reports.
Leeds returned to the premier league this season and have enjoyed some good form in recent weeks. In Match-Day 19, Leeds United drew goalless against Liverpool at Anfield while Manchester United payed out a 1-1 draw against Wolves.

In a post by Rio Ferdnand, he shared an interview via his official X handle on Ruben Amorim talking about the match against Leeds United. He said:
I heard it’s a big derby, a great environment, big rivalry, I know it means a lot to the fans.
Leeds United are looking to extend their unbeaten run but for Ferdinand, he recalls how hostile they used to be after he left the club to join their rivals Manchester United. He narrates:
When I went back there, remember we had to go there with Police escort. Our bus going into Ellan Road and out had to have police escort because the police were just worried what was going to happen with the Leeds fans just going nuts. I’ve had some hostile environment but that will have to be up there with the best, in terms of hostility. Leeds know how to create a hostile environment. It’s crazy because I was once there helping them create hostile environment for opposition players and teams and then, I became public enemy number one.
