Kylian Mbappé has hailed Manchester City midfielder Rayan Cherki as a ‘special talent’ ahead of France World Cup qualifier against Ukraine on Thursday, Softfootball reports.
The Real Madrid forward was in action for the Los Blancos when they played out a goalless draw against Rayo Vallecano while Cherki was brilliant for the Cityzens as they hammered Liverpool 3-0 at the Etihad just before the international break.

In an interview shared by football expert, Fabrizio Romano via his official X handle, Mbappe praised his national teammate and hoped he reaches his full potentials. He said:
He’s a special talent. He has a gift that he’s in the process of exploiting. It’s an innate, spectacular talent. He has integrated very well into the France group and at Manchester City, which is not easy. I hope he continues like this.

France are currently top of Group B with 13 points after four wins, a draw and a defeat and will battle Ukraine on Thursday before facing Azerbaijan on Sunday. Les Bleus can’t afford to slip up like they did against Iceland as Italy are hot on their heels with the same points
Didier Deschamps’ men are unbeaten in their last five matches but they need a win against Ukraine at Parc des Princes and the home fans will be crucial for them as they can be the 12th man on the pitch with their energy and support.
