Khvicha Kvaratskhelia has firmly dismissed speculation about his future at Paris Saint-Germain, with his father, Badri, confirming the Georgian star is “highly valued and respected” in the French capital.

The 25-year-old winger has become a key part of the Parisian project since joining from Napoli in early 2025. His camp has now moved to shut down transfer rumours, despite reported interest from Premier League clubs. Transfer expert Fabrizio Romano shared the quotes from the player’s father via Kviris Palitra on his official X handle:

Fabrizio Romano reported;

Kvaratskhelia’s father Badri: “Khvicha leaving PSG? He’s not thinking about that. He’s happy in Paris, where he is highly valued and respected by club”.

“Why should he think about moving elsewhere when he is winning titles with the team and is one of PSG’s key players?

“If PSG no longer wishes to continue the cooperation, we will consider options, but for now, this is not being discussed”, told Kviris Palitra.

The timing of this statement is important, as PSG prepare for one of their biggest matches of the season. The French champions will face Bayern Munich in the Champions League semi-final first leg on Tuesday, April 28, 2026, at the Parc des Princes. Bayern arrive in strong form after winning the Bundesliga and beating Real Madrid 6-4 on aggregate in the quarter-finals. They will also look to repeat their earlier 2-1 win over PSG this season.

Kvaratskhelia knows the challenge ahead. Speaking before the game, he said the team must give everything to compete against a strong Bayern side. The German club recently knocked out Real Madrid and are in top form.

Softfootball believes that once the match begins, all attention will be on Kvaratskhelia, who has scored 12 goals this season, to see if he can lead PSG past Vincent Kompany’s dangerous team.

Kvaratskhelia remains under contract with PSG until 2030 and is seen as untouchable by the club. After the first leg in Paris, both teams will meet again for the second leg at the Allianz Arena on May 6.
