As transfers continue happening left, right and centre on Friday 15th May 2026, Softfootball confirms that Jannik Schuster has joined Brentford FC from RB Leipzig.
The deal is worth an initial £14 million (€20m), with potential add-ons capable of raising the package to £17 million.
Schuster has signed a long-term contract that will keep him in West London until June 2031, with the club also holding the option of an additional year.
The player will officially register and join the Premier League side on 1 July 2026. The move is also seen as historic, as the transfer reportedly makes him the most expensive Austrian player in the history of the Austrian Bundesliga.
