Manchester City manager, Pep Guardiola has revealed that he is so proud after reaching a major career milestone of 1000th game, Softfootball reports.
The Cityzens defeated bitter rivals Liverpool 3-0 at the Etihad on Sunday evening as the Pep celebrated widely on the touchline. It was goals from Erling Haaland, Nico and Jeremy Doku that settled the game.

Guardiola was so delighted after the game and in his interview shared via Manchester City’s official X handle. He said:
I thank so much the players, the staff and backroom staff so much for giving me this present.
I don’t like too much to talk about myself but 1000 games is a lot and what Liverpool mean here in my career, to do it that way I’m so proud. Everyone has been top, I’m really pleased.
Pep Guardiola has won 716 matches and a whopping 40 trophies including 18 during nine-and-a-half seasons at Manchester City.

Manchester City has found form this season and has won their last three matches convincingly. In midweek, the Cityzens beat Borussia Dortmund 4-1 in the UEFA Champions League and before the hammered Swansea 3-1 in the fourth round of the Carabao Cup.
Arsenal should be worried as the title race is concerned as Manchester City are now second with 22 points, just four points adrift the Gunners.
