Harry Maguire returns from injury as Manchester United prepare to face Wolves

Manchester United defender, Harry Maguire has returned from injury ahead of the premier league Match-Day 19 fixture against Wolves at Old Trafford, Softfootball reports.

The match will be the final game of the year for the Red Devils and they would want to end it with a win. Manchester United defeated Newcastle on Boxing Day 1-0 and would want to follow their 4-1 victory earlier in the season against Wolves.

Manchester United shared a picture via the club’s official X handle where Maguire was training in the gym ahead of the match which is scheduled for Tuesday at Old Trafford., a ground where they certainly win almost all the time when they have a half-time lead. They posted:

Maguire said he loves Manchester United and has shown it in the past as he refuses to be sold. He was almost shipped out to West Ham United two seasons ago but he preferred to stay and fight for his shirt.

He is now one of the most important part of the team and his recent absence through injury has been felt at the club and his return will be welcomed by manager, Ruben Amorim, who has used youngsters in recent weeks.

Manchester United are currently in sixth place in the premier league with 29 points after 18 matches so far this season.
