Gift Orban celebrated his first goal for Hoffenheim after helping his side secure a 2-2 draw against Eintracht Frankfurt in the Bundesliga.
The Nigerian striker started on the bench before entering the match in the 63rd minute with Hoffenheim chasing the game. Softfootball understands Orban made an immediate impact, needing just two minutes to score his maiden goal for the German club after being set up by Adam Hlozek.
Eintracht Frankfurt had taken the lead in the opening half through Hugo Ekitike’s penalty and looked on course for victory before Hoffenheim mounted their comeback.
Compatriot Kevin Akpoguma also featured throughout the contest, producing another solid defensive display for the hosts.
The valuable point lifted Hoffenheim to 18 points from 19 league matches, keeping them four points clear of the Bundesliga relegation zone.
