While this was unfolding, softfootball had also earlier made a report on Carrick, who replaced Ruben Amorim, sacked following some poor results and failing to get the team used to his 3-4-3 formation that was so successful in Portugal with Sporting Lisbon.

A good coach ensures his team is performing well and always active, and this is what he wants to ensure in order to avoid failure or the downfall of the team. Great performance led to recognition, which is evident from FIFA’s reported ranking, with Morocco, Senegal, and Nigeria leading Africa after AFCON 2025.
