Softfootball understands that City are holding out for a higher figure, as the Brazilian shot-stopper remains highly valued by Pep Guardiola’s side. Ederson, however, has been linked with a move away from the Etihad all summer, with Saudi clubs and now Galatasaray testing the waters.
Transfer expert Fabrizio Romano has revealed that Galatasaray have submitted their first official bid for Manchester City goalkeeper Ederson, with the Turkish giants pushing hard to secure his signature.

Fabrizio confirmed the news on his official X account, writing:
“EXCL: Galatasaray send first official bid to Man City for Éderson.
Proposal in the region of €10m while City ask for higher fee.
Gigio Donnarumma has already opened doors to City move, no issues on personal terms
If Éderson leaves, Donnarumma can join #MCFC”
This development throws the attention directly onto Paris Saint-Germain goalie Gianluigi Donnarumma, who has been viewed as a perfect replacement in case Ederson leaves. The Italian goalkeeper has been said to be coming with no reluctance over a move to the Premier League champions, and personal terms do not appear to be a problem.
Softfootball understands that City’s transfer stance is clear: Donnarumma’s deal is lined up only if Ederson leaves the club. That means Galatasaray’s pursuit could trigger one of the biggest goalkeeper moves of the summer.
